Key Responsibilities Investigates, analyzes, negotiates, resolves, documents, and reports on billing issues and complaints Identifies solutions to billing issues and presents resolution options to customers Negotiates and authorizes billing settlements and adjusts customer accounts within established limits Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Experience in billing and collections, preferably in a healthcare setting Knowledge of Medi-Cal (California Medicaid) regulations and procedures Proficiency in billing software and electronic health record systems Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Relevant certifications in medical billing or coding are preferred
