A company is looking for a Senior Staff Attorney to lead legal strategies for shareholder rights and environmental, social, and governance issues. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute innovative legal strategies to promote environmental and social justice and defend shareholder rights Draft regulatory petitions, amicus briefs, and assist in the legal aspects of shareholder advocacy work Collaborate with colleagues and partner organizations to respond to legal, economic, or political challenges Required Qualifications J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction 5 or more years of post-graduate legal experience with significant litigation experience Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Sharepoint Demonstrated commitment to progressive social and environmental change
