Canadian Licensed Product Counsel

A company is looking for a Product Counsel with a Canadian law license and payments experience. Key Responsibilities Advise internal BNPL and payments clients on compliance with the Retail Payments Activities Act (RPAA) Provide legal guidance on customer IDV requirements and implementation of consumer-driven regulations Support product management with regulatory compliance, including drafting terms of use and addressing regulatory issues Required Qualifications 6+ years of legal experience Must hold a Canadian law license Significant experience in payments law Knowledge of consumer laws, rules, and regulations Preferred experience as product counsel
