Cash Application Specialist

A company is looking for a Cash Application Specialist to manage cash transactions and resolve payment discrepancies. Key Responsibilities Research and identify unapplied payments, create debit memos, and communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues Reconcile COD statements and contact relevant parties regarding unapplied payments Assist in training co-workers and process local and foreign wire deposits while posting daily receipts to customer accounts Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical school preferred, with an Associate's Degree in Business or Accounting being a plus Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant work experience in an Accounting function or Cash Transactions role Technical knowledge of Cash Accounting principles and processes Computer experience in data entry, Microsoft Word, and Excel Ability to read and interpret business documents and perform basic calculations
