Key Responsibilities Assign codes for diagnoses, treatments, and procedures based on classification systems Assist and train other coders while conducting research on unfamiliar topics Review and validate coding accuracy and compliance with established guidelines Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required CCS-P or CPC Certification Five (5) years of coding experience Extensive knowledge of coding conventions and payer guidelines Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
