A company is looking for a Head of Commercial Legal. Key Responsibilities Draft, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts including various agreements with school districts and vendors Collaborate with Sales and Legal leadership to establish playbooks that enhance deal cycles and compliance Provide legal guidance on data privacy, risk mitigation, and contract strategy while supporting cross-functional teams Required Qualifications JD or equivalent with 7+ years of post-qualification legal experience Deep experience with commercial transactions, preferably in technology or edtech Strong skills in drafting and negotiating various contracts, including SaaS agreements Knowledge of U.S. data privacy laws and familiarity with international frameworks like GDPR Experience in negotiating with K-12 districts and understanding public procurement processes is a plus
