Consultant Director of Programs
A company is looking for a Director of Programs, Syria - Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
Translate the organization's strategy into fundable and impactful projects while recognizing opportunities for innovative action
Manage program activities, ensuring timely implementation within budget and scope, and promote learning through effective monitoring and evaluation
Drive resource development strategies and lead proposal development to maintain a fully funded portfolio
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in international development, economics, agriculture, conflict mitigation, social sciences, or related fields
Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in conflict management or governance programs, preferably in transitional environments
Practical experience in managing a diverse portfolio of projects and national/international staff
Knowledge of key sectors such as market development, food security, and resilience is preferred
Fluency in Arabic is preferred, along with a strong understanding of regional dynamics and sensitivities in Syria
