A company is looking for a Cost Estimator for a long-term contract opportunity with a remote work model. Key Responsibilities Ensure adherence to Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and project management best practices Complete and submit Earned Value reports within the defined reporting period Maintain cost estimates with a variance of less than 5% between forecasted and actual project costs Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent project controls experience 5-10 years of experience on large development or Department of Energy (DOE) type projects Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio) Ability to quickly learn new software and processes Demonstrated experience in improving processes or systems for efficiency
