Defined Benefit Plan Administrator
A company is looking for a Defined Benefit Plan Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
Perform nondiscrimination, coverage, and top-heavy testing for defined benefit plans in compliance with IRS regulations
Calculate annual required and discretionary employer contributions based on actuarial valuations
Assist in the preparation of IRS Form 5500 and support plan audits with necessary documentation
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in defined benefit or retirement plan administration (preferred)
Ability to read and understand complex documentation related to plan design and compliance
Knowledge of basic accounting principles for reconciling plan assets and liabilities
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
Willingness to pursue professional certifications such as QPA or QKA through ASPPA
