Environmental Claims Officer

A company is looking for an Environmental Claims Officer to manage specialty claims within the Environmental business unit. Key Responsibilities Analyze, investigate, and evaluate losses to determine coverage and claim disposition Document claims and diary future events using the Global Claim Center Manage the litigation process and participate in mediations and negotiations within settlement authority limits Required Qualifications Bachelor's and/or advanced degree (JD preferred) 10+ years of claims experience, with at least 5 years in a technical specialty (Environmental Claims preferred) Advanced knowledge of claims handling concepts and practices Functional knowledge of law and insurance regulations in various jurisdictions Maintain insurance adjuster licenses as required
