Excess Underwriter
A company is looking for an Underwriter II (Excess). Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate Excess insurance applications to determine coverage acceptance based on underwriting guidelines Approve or decline applications within authority limits and document underwriting files with risk analysis and pricing justification Collaborate with the underwriting team and utilize databases to ensure accurate policy pricing and compliance with regulations Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Minimum 3 years of underwriting or related insurance experience required CPCU, CIC, CRIS, or Property & Casualty Brokers License is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software quickly Strong desire to learn and adapt to changing priorities
