Illinois Licensed Assistant Counsel

A company is looking for an Assistant Counsel to support legal matters related to contract management, compliance, and intellectual property. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts and legal documents Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations Assist in risk management and provide legal advice on various sports and media-related agreements Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) and admission to the bar, preferably in Illinois or Tennessee 1-3 years of legal experience, preferably in-house or in a similar environment Strong understanding of contract law and intellectual property issues Experience in sports and/or entertainment is preferred but not required Legal authorization to work in the United States
