A company is looking for a Quality Expert, CC-Coding Related Denials. Key Responsibilities: Reviewing and resolving pre-bill coding related edits as well as coding related and non-covered service claim denials Utilizing coding guidelines, payer portals and policies for optimal reimbursement Processing charge corrections, write offs and patient balance transfers Requirements: Requires RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CIC, or COC, or an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license, with ASN required and BSN preferred High School Diploma is required Associate or Bachelor Degree in Health Information Management, Coding, Nursing or Finance is preferred Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma training preferred Requires 5+ years of experience in revenue cycle operations related to coding, billing, collections, auditing, denial management, and medical record completion
