A company is looking for an International Biomass Advisor Contractor. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic support to global networks working on biomass, enhancing their impact Advance amendments to UNFCCC and IPCC carbon accounting rules to eliminate harmful loopholes Identify and recruit allies in biomass and energy issues, and develop materials for advocacy and public engagement Required Qualifications Experience in global climate and/or energy sectors, focusing on civil society engagement Working knowledge of forest biomass and its international implications or carbon markets At least 5 years of experience in coalition building with an equity-focused approach Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong oral and written communication skills in English
