Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist
A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist 2 to ensure the timely collection of outstanding healthcare insurance receivables. Key Responsibilities Verify and obtain eligibility and authorization from insurance carriers Research and monitor unpaid or denied claims and contact payers for payment resolution Maintain patient confidentiality and perform other related duties as required Required Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in medical collections, denials, and appeals Intermediate knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and NCCI Familiarity with third-party billing guidelines and claim forms (UB04/1500) Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with health information systems (e.g., EMR, Claim Scrubbers)
