Oncology Social Worker (LCSW)
A company is looking for an Oncology Social Worker to provide psychosocial support to cancer patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and provide emotional support to patients and families
Identify and connect patients with relevant community resources to address complex social needs
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care and address social or emotional barriers to treatment
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program
Valid and current master's level license in the practice state (e.g., LMSW, LISW, LCSW)
Preferred certifications include OSW-C or APHSW-C
Minimum three to five years of experience as a social worker in a healthcare setting, with oncology or palliative care experience desired
Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
