Outpatient Facility Coder

A company is looking for a Back Office Operator. Key Responsibilities: Analyze medical records and abstract clinical data by assigning codes from patient records Review patient encounters for accurate code assignment and export appropriate codes from coding systems Query physicians regarding code assignments when documentation is inadequate or unclear Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 Coding Certification from AHIMA or AAPC (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCS, COC) 3+ years of experience in coding 2+ years of Oncology coding experience Experience with EPIC/3M 360 CAC and diagnostic Profee coding Thorough knowledge of ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CPT-4 coding guidelines
