Pennsylvania Licensed Deaf Advisor
A company is looking for a Statewide Deaf & Communication Support Advisor.
Key Responsibilities
Work within the Special Populations Unit to ensure effective communication for individuals
Assist in assessing statewide needs and develop strategies to improve service delivery for children
Provide presentations, consultation, and technical assistance to various stakeholders and monitor communication support for individuals
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology or a related field
At least 2 years of professional experience with individuals using sign language or other nontraditional communication methods
At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
American Sign Language fluency at Survival Level required; fluency at Intermediate Plus level preferred
