We are seeking an experienced Product UX Designer (contract) to support the Discovery & Planning phase of an application redesign project. The contractor will support Constructive in the following areas: Discovery & Assessment: Evaluate the current user experience and administrative workflows to understand the product’s context and identify areas for improvement. User Research: Lead user research interviews with the client to observe the current product experience, gather feedback, and uncover user pain points and key priorities for improvement. UX Design & Requirements: Develop high-level UX deliverables such as user flows and a prioritized list of core requirements for the redesigned application. Work collaboratively with the client to review and iterate on these outputs. This phase of the project will not require designing wireframes. Product Requirements: Document insights from research and discovery into clearly defined goals and requirements. Prioritization and Scope Estimations: Inform the scope and level of effort of designing and building the product, in collaboration with Constructive’s project and technical teams. Contract Details: Hours: 30-50 total Project Timeline: 1-month Start Date: Mid-May (tentative) Hourly rate range: $60 - $80 per hour depending on level of experience Work Hours & Flexibility: Expected availability for check-ins and feedback loops; must align with Eastern or Central timezones for check-ins and reviews.
