Postgres Networking Engineer
A company is looking for an engineer to own the networking layer of their Postgres platform. Key Responsibilities: Architect and maintain connection pooling infrastructure using tools like PgBouncer and Supavisor Build intelligent query routing systems that support multi-tenancy and workload isolation Collaborate with core Postgres and observability teams to reduce latency and increase system resilience Required Qualifications: Deep understanding of Postgres connection behavior and network protocols Experience with observability tooling Proficiency in query shaping and routing logic Ability to prototype new patterns for query classification and load shedding Experience working in a remote and collaborative environment
