Protobuf Cleanup Engineer
A company is looking for a Protobuf Cleanup Engineer to support modernization efforts in their core metadata infrastructure team. Key Responsibilities: Audit and identify current usages of GoGoProto extensions in protobuf definitions Migrate .proto files to use standard protobuf options and regenerate protobuf code Collaborate with internal engineering teams and document migration steps and best practices Required Qualifications: Proven experience with Protocol Buffers in production Go/gRPC environments Strong proficiency in Golang, including code generation and concurrency patterns Familiarity with GoGoProto and its ecosystem is preferred Experience with large, production-critical codebases in service-oriented architectures Ability to work independently and navigate infrastructure-level projects
