Minnesota Licensed Reimbursement Specialist
A company is looking for an Intake Reimbursement Specialist - Remote. Key Responsibilities Process referrals, verify benefit information, and acquire initial authorizations for patient services Resolve pending coverage issues and claim denials while communicating accurate authorization information Provide consulting and training services for external customers and serve as a resource for pharmacy services Required Qualifications, Training, and Education 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting or with revenue cycle and health insurance Revenue Cycle Certification (HFMA - CRCR) or Pharmacy certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Bachelor's degree in business, communications, healthcare, or related field (preferred) Knowledge of ICD9 and ICD10 coding (preferred) 2 years of relevant experience using an enterprise software system in healthcare or insurance (preferred)
