QA Engineer II

A company is looking for a QA Engineer II to help establish quality assurance practices in their development process. Key Responsibilities: Participate in requirements gathering, test strategy, and planning sessions Develop and execute automated tests and conduct manual testing as needed Proactively communicate testing progress and suggest quality improvements throughout the development lifecycle Required Qualifications: BS/BA degree preferred 3-5 years' experience in IT QA roles with exposure to both manual and automated testing Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Tosca, Selenium, or similar) Strong SQL skills for data validation and integrity testing Experience with web services testing and API validation
