Key Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the coding team, ensuring productivity and quality metrics are met Track and report on overturned appeals and audit a sample of appeals weekly Maintain payor policies and act as a point of contact for non-coding staff regarding appeals processing Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse license Active AHIMA or AAPC Coding Certification (CCS, RHIA, RHIT, CCA, CPC-A, CPC-H, CPMA, or CIC) Prior leadership experience in medical record reviews Extensive knowledge of medical coding for inpatient and outpatient claims Familiarity with reimbursement guidelines
