A company is looking for an SBA Underwriter - Remote. Key Responsibilities Underwrite SBA guaranteed loan products ensuring compliance with regulations and bank policies Compile data for credit packages and prepare analyses, summaries, and recommendations for loan approvals Evaluate loan applications and identify risks while collaborating with Relationship Managers on complex loan structuring Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field and 1+ year of relevant underwriting experience Basic knowledge of commercial and small business credit underwriting and related analysis Understanding of commercial lending policies, banking laws, and regulations Ability to analyze financial statements, business plans, and credit reports Good judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to handle confidential information
