Security Operations Principal Engineer

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer, Security Operations. Key Responsibilities Lead incident response efforts, analyzing and managing security incidents and alerts Conduct security assessments and implement security controls across systems and infrastructure Collaborate with various teams to enhance security practices and automate security processes Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in a security or operations role, ideally in a cloud-based Linux environment Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience Strong knowledge of security best practices and industry standards such as NIST, CIS, and ISO Experience with security tools and automation tools, including scripting skills in Python or shell Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GCP, or AWS Certified Security Specialty are a plus
