Senior Fuel Handling Engineer
A company is looking for a Senior Fuel Handling Systems Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
Design nuclear in-vessel fuel handling systems and equipment from initial requirements to final design
Manage systems and component-level requirements, ensuring traceability and implementation within the configuration control system
Collaborate with the design team to create and manage comprehensive drawing packages, including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
Key Qualifications and Skills:
B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related STEM discipline preferred
A minimum of 8 years of experience in the design of complex mechanical systems, preferably with nuclear technology
Proficiency in 2D and/or 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
Familiarity with ASME BPVC Section III or Section VIII code is desired
Experience with quality standards in design and procurement activities, such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001, is preferred
