A company is looking for a Senior Interconnection Engineer. Key Responsibilities Lead the development of plant-specific power flow models to guide projects through the interconnection process Ensure compliance for reactive power requirements and develop supporting power flow models Participate in technical discussions with utilities/ISOs for interconnection studies and maintain knowledge of relevant regulations and standards Required Qualifications, Training, and Education 5 or more years of experience in a similar role Technical background in transmission systems planning or generator interconnection processes Knowledge of transmission systems and long-term transmission plans in the US Proficiency in power flow software Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
