Interconnection Engineer
A company is looking for an Interconnection Engineer to assist in the interconnection process of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. Key Responsibilities Assist in building plant-specific power flow models for project interconnection Ensure compliance for reactive power requirements and develop supporting power flow models Participate in technical discussions with utilities/ISOs for interconnection studies Required Qualifications 3 or more years' experience in a similar role Technical background in transmission systems planning or generator interconnection processes Knowledge of transmission systems and long-term transmission plans in the US Understanding of Open Access Transmission Tariffs and Generator Interconnection Procedures Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
