Senior Python Software Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Python) for their Data Platform team. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with data analysts, data engineers, and machine learning engineers to understand their needs and challenges Propose, architect, design, and implement solutions to enhance data product team efficiency Lead efforts to improve the software engineering culture within the data organization and resolve issues with core data pipelines and Python libraries Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Python engineer with a background in data engineering and internal tooling Expert fluency in Python and SQL, with a strong understanding of programming language internals Advanced knowledge of software engineering practices and testing methodologies Experience with container-based software development workflows (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) and cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake) Proficiency in using analytical databases and implementing database-driven solutions
