Key Responsibilities Oversee advisory engagements and special studies related to state and local government financial, operational, and policy issues Manage team assessments of processes and internal controls, providing recommendations for improvements Ensure clients meet cyclical accounting and financial reporting objectives, including reconciliations and financial reporting Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field 5-10 years of experience in the government industry, including supervisory experience Active CPA licensure, a Master's degree, or another relevant professional certification preferred Advanced knowledge of government accounting and financial management standards Experience in developing professional networks and pursuing new business opportunities
