Vice President Life & Annuity Risk

A company is looking for a Vice President, L&A Transaction Risk. Key Responsibilities Oversee new life insurance and annuity reinsurance transactions, including pricing and risk assessments Develop and maintain a comprehensive transactional risk management framework and ensure compliance with governance standards Collaborate with internal departments and serve as a trusted advisor on risk and governance matters Required Qualifications Bachelor's or advanced degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or a related field Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) with a minimum of 15 years of experience Significant knowledge of life insurance, annuities, and retirement products Applied insurance ALM experience and understanding of regulatory capital requirements Experience with complex actuarial models and programming languages used in actuarial practice
