Washington Customer Service Specialist
A company is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to manage patient interactions and support service processes.
Key Responsibilities
Answer inbound and outbound calls while documenting all interactions according to standard procedures
Process orders, verify insurance eligibility, and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
Educate patients on financial responsibilities and facilitate resolution of customer complaints
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
One year of experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services
For senior level, two years of experience with one year in a similar role
Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial health plan methodologies preferred
Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
