Washington State Peer Recovery Specialist
A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient engagement and assist patients in identifying barriers to recovery
Educate patients on available community resources and facilitate care transitions
Maintain communication with patients and Care Team members, providing support and reporting on patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
Peer certification in Oregon or Washington State, active and in good standing
Two years of experience in peer support and a minimum of two years of recovery from substance use or co-occurring mental health disorders
Expected to obtain National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) certification within 9 months of hire
Strong preference for individuals with underrepresented pathways in recovery and direct experience of marginalization
High degree of trustworthiness and professionalism, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
