Associate Director of Scientific Programs

A company is looking for an Associate Director of Scientific Programs who will advance mission-driven research and science-policy initiatives focused on energy and climate solutions. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals Maintain scientific rigor and quality across all program work products while fostering a culture of excellence Support the shaping of the research agenda by coordinating strategic planning and ensuring efficient program delivery Qualifications Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field such as environmental science, public health, or climate science Advanced knowledge and expertise in at least three areas: Clean Energy Transition, Environmental Public Health, Climate, Energy Equity, or Oil and Gas 5-7 years of experience in climate, energy, or public health research, with at least 3 years in a program management role Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and cross-functional teams effectively Familiarity with regulations and ethical guidelines governing research activities
