California Licensed Coder II
A company is looking for an E/M Multi-Specialty Coder - Coder II (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Performs accurate and timely coding (CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, HCPCS, modifiers)
Maintains familiarity with coding regulations and guidelines for multi-specialty surgical practices
Identifies trends in coding practices and presents solutions to improve accuracy and compliance
Required Qualifications
Certified Procedural Coder (CPC) required; Certified Evaluation and Management Coder (CEMC) is a plus
High school diploma or GED required
Completion of courses in ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding from an accredited program preferred
Minimum of 3 years of coding experience in a multi-specialty medical group preferred
Familiarity with ICD-10-CM, CPT-4 coding, and payment methodologies
