CDI Second Level Reviewer

A company is looking for a CDI Second Level Reviewer. Key Responsibilities Perform high-level, secondary case reviews to ensure accurate and comprehensive provider documentation Identify potential gaps or opportunities for improved provider documentation through timely reviews Collaborate with CDI, coding, and providers to enhance clinical documentation quality and identify trends for improvement Required Qualifications CCDS or CDIP certification required RN preferred but not required A minimum of 3 years' CDI experience Thorough knowledge of official medical coding guidelines, CMS, and private payer regulations Ability to communicate collaboratively with physicians and hospital staff to promote quality improvement
