A company is looking for a VRI American Sign Language Interpreter Nationwide. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, real-time American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation through secure VRI platforms Ensure accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation between ASL and spoken English Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and impartiality in accordance with RID Code of Professional Conduct and HIPAA/ADA regulations Qualifications Certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), including NIC, CI, or CT Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ASL interpreter, with at least 1 year providing VRI services Fluent in both English and ASL with excellent linguistic, cognitive, and cultural mediation skills High-speed internet, reliable computer, webcam, and headset suitable for secure video interpreting Ability to maintain a professional and quiet remote work environment
