Certified Senior Coding Auditor

A company is looking for a Senior Coding Quality Specialist responsible for auditing global team end-to-end coding engagement. Key Responsibilities Perform complex retrospective analysis of medical record documentation to identify coding and billing errors Provide second-level review of diagnosis, procedure, and billing codes to ensure compliance with regulations Maintain QA percentages within internal quality goals and assist in the design of systems to improve coder productivity Required Qualifications Certified coder/auditor with credentials such as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CPMA 3-7 years of coding and/or auditing experience in an acute care facility or clinic Experience with inpatient, outpatient, pro fee, facility, E/M leveling, and surgical coding Familiarity with hospital outpatient billing processes and coding guidelines Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience with electronic medical records systems
