A company is looking for a Coder Certified (Remote) - Surgery. Key Responsibilities Review medical record documentation to select appropriate billing codes Meet with physicians to resolve coding issues and secure signatures on documentation Assist coders with medical terminology and increase physician awareness of documentation requirements Required Qualifications Must possess one of the following coding credentials: AHIMA (CCA, CCS, CCS-P) or AAPC (CPC, CPC-A, CPC-H, CPC-H-A) No specific work experience required A diploma, certification, or degree is not required Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding is preferred Associate degree in Medical Coding & Billing is preferred
