Key Responsibilities Consults and coordinates medication prior authorization requests and documents outcomes Communicates with providers to gather clinical information for healthcare service determinations Prepares utilization reviews and manages time limits for conducting review determinations Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or higher 2+ years of experience in a clinical healthcare setting as a Pharmacy Tech or Medical Assistant 2+ years of experience within Utilization Review function 2+ years of experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payor guidelines 2+ years of experience in Prior Authorization in a pharmacy setting
