Denials Management Coordinator
A company is looking for a Coordinator, Denials Management.
Key Responsibilities
Differentiates between clinical and technical denials through EOBs, denial letters, and data mining
Contacts payers to negotiate resolution on technical denials and manages appeals using necessary documentation
Evaluates appeal outcomes for next steps and manages assigned workload through timely follow-up and accurate record-keeping
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; a four-year degree is preferred
2 years of experience in hospital-related billing or follow-up field
Knowledge of or experience working with managed care contracts
Experience in customer support or client issue resolution management
Proficiency with MS Office
