A company is looking for an Environmental Specialist to assist in telecommunications construction permit applications and ensure environmental compliance. Key Responsibilities Identify potential environmental concerns related to fiber optic construction projects Drive projects through environmental review processes, including NEPA compliance Coordinate with agencies to determine environmental requirements and provide necessary documentation Required Qualifications Working knowledge of federal and state environmental laws (e.g., NEPA, NHPA, CWA, ESA) Experience with federal agencies such as USACE, FERC, BLM, USFS, and USFWS Ability to manage multiple smaller projects in diverse settings Capability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner Bachelor's degree with a biology or archaeology-related emphasis is preferred
