A company is looking for a First Line Defense Analyst to join their Mortgage client's team on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities Serve as the department point of contact for internal and external audit requests, compiling necessary documentation Prepare Business Performance testing and manage remediations in response to audit findings Test policies and procedures, suggesting improvements and maintaining controls within the monthly process Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred 0-2 years of Mortgage Servicing experience; 2-4 years required without a Bachelor's degree Intermediate to Expert MS Excel experience Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices Understanding of operational risks and related controls
