Key Responsibilities Abstract data from medical records into Epic and 3M 360 for case summaries Identify and code diagnoses and procedures according to ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 guidelines Ensure compliance with coding procedures mandated by government and payers Required Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent required Minimum of 1 year of outpatient coding experience required Experience in multidisciplinary coding or provider E&M level of service coding preferred Coding certification such as CPC, CCS, or RHIT required Other relevant certifications from AAPC or AHIMA may be considered
