Health Information Management Technician
A company is looking for a HIMS Technician to join their Acute Care HIMS Team. Key Responsibilities Maintain and preserve confidential electronic health records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Conduct routine releases of health information and analyze electronic health records for deficiencies Provide customer service related to HIMS functions and perform document imaging tasks Required Qualifications One or more years of post-high school education in medical records and information systems or equivalent experience Knowledge of health information practices and principles Strong technical skills in software applications and databases Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively Familiarity with electronic health record systems
