A company is looking for a Director, Legal (Employment) to serve as the employment law subject matter expert. Key Responsibilities Assist the Legal and People departments with various legal issues related to the global workforce Partner with the HR Business Partner team on workplace investigations and employee relations matters Draft, negotiate, and review contracts and policies related to employment and employee relations Required Qualifications Licensed to practice law in Illinois and/or California 4-year undergraduate degree Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school 7+ years of experience as an attorney focused on labor and employment law Experience managing and advising clients with global workforces
