Key Responsibilities Manage the underwriting function and ensure quality meets company and investor standards Oversee mortgage pipeline management and provide guidance on complex mortgage matters Lead personnel management activities including hiring, training, and performance development Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in mortgage process and underwriting, including 4 years in management, or High School Diploma or GED with 12 years of experience in mortgage process and underwriting, including 4 years in management Experience leading a team of mortgage underwriters Current knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC, FHA, USDA, VA, and Portfolio Lending Proficient in Encompass, Excel, and Word
