Indiana Licensed Sign Language Interpreter
A company is looking for a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to provide virtual interpreting services for K12 students throughout Indiana. Key Responsibilities: Provide real-time ASL interpretation during virtual classroom instruction and school-related activities Facilitate clear, effective communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students, educators, and peers Support IEP implementation and accurately document service delivery Qualifications: EIPA score of 3.5+ or current certification through RID or NIC Previous experience working in K12 educational settings (virtual experience preferred) Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and English Knowledgeable in educational interpreting standards and student-centered practices Access to reliable high-speed internet, webcam, and headset
