Licensed Lead Piping Stress Engineer
A company is looking for a Lead Piping Stress Engineer 2 - Nuclear.
Key Responsibilities
Provides technical direction and supervision to project team members, ensuring project deliverables meet technical and quality expectations
Reviews and approves calculations, designs, and engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements
Prepares and reviews specifications, bid evaluations, and complex reports/studies, participating in design reviews and vendor negotiations
Required Qualifications
BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Aerospace, or Structural/Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
P.E. license
12 or more years of relevant experience
Extensive knowledge of ASME B31.1 and ASME B&PV Section III piping codes
Knowledge of the design, selection, and application of pipe supporting elements
